This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity, paying $19-$25 DOE per hour based on experience.

What you will be going:

  1. Analyzes and solves technical maintenance problems. 
  2. Maintenance and assembly of in-house production machinery.
  3. Performs mechanical, electrical and instrument repair, inspection and construction assembly of equipment. 
  4. Responsible for preventative maintenance activities.
  5. Data collection and reporting.
  6. Maintenance of spare parts inventories and other related duties.
  7. May monitor or plan jobs completed by outside contractors.
  8. Solid blueprint reading skills and ability to understand complex machine drawings, complex assembly prints, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics & wiring diagrams.  
  9. Knowledge of maintenance and safety procedures.  
  10. Ability to use basic hand and measuring tools, both mechanical and electrical. 
  11. Basic metal machining knowledge preferred for using of milling machines and lathes.  
  12. Be a team player, self-starter who can follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision. 
  13. Allen Bradley and Siemens software experience, preferred
  14. Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required. Microsoft Word & Excel.
  15. Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and procedures.
  16. Communicate well with others.  
  17. Ability to oversee multiple priorities. 
  18. Other duties as assigned by Manager

What we require from you:

  1. 4 years of progressive maintenance experience OR technical degree AND 2 years of experience
  2. Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical and mechanical operations and components.
  3. Must have a good understanding of plant-wide functions such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, etc.  Be able to troubleshoot complex machinery.
  4. Must have basic welding skills.  
  5. Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical and mechanical operations and components.
  6. Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance.
  7. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  8. Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction. Ability to read, write and understand English.
  9. Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  10. Use hands to type, finger, handle, or feel
  11. Stand, walk and reach with hands and arms
  12. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs; anything over that requires a two-person lift, or other lifting equipment
  13. Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusting focus
