Machine Attendant II

Job Description:  

To monitor one and/or multiple workstation(s) at the machine(s) and/or assembly processes to ensure that the packaging and inspection of the parts produced are in accordance with our safety procedures and the customer’s standards.

Responsibilities: 

• Handling of product produced from a machine 

• This could include trimming or clipping product 

• Packaging, weighting, and labeling product 

• Inspection of all product produced at the machine 

• At times measuring parts with gauge pins to ensure that they are acceptable to the customer’s print 

• Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized workstation 

• Communicating any quality issues to the Shift Supervisor 

• Suggesting areas of improvement needed when training and notifying the Shift Supervisor of these suggestions 

• Training Machine Attendant I 

• Assembly work which could include ultra-sonic inserting and welding 

• Kit work 

Experience: 

• Must have exceeded all the responsibilities required as a Machine Attendant I 

• Prior machine attendant/operator skills and experience 

Qualifications: 

• Must be able to read and understand all the documentation required to perform assigned tasks (Work Order and the Operator Responsibility Sheet) 

• Basic math skills 

• Basic computer skills 

• Should be able to speak, understand, and read English 

• Good communication skills 

• Positive attitude and show initiative 

• Basic measuring skills 

• Attention to detail 

• Job knowledge of various production runs from previous orders
