Basic Function

Responsible for day to day customer management of specified customer accounts. 

Responsibilities

  1. Provide total customer management and support for assigned customers
  2. Primary interface between customer and Companu using the following methods:
    • Email
    • In Person
    • Phone
  3. Perform order entry for assigned customer POs, including contract review.
  4. Handling of all customer change orders
  5. Handling of all customer RMAs
  6. Customer quote management
    • Quote entry and setup
    • Management of quotes through engineering and purchasing for costing
    • Prepare the final quote/proposal for delivery to the customer by establishing price and lead time based on inputs from engineering, purchasing and historical data
    • Present the final quotes to management for sign off
    • Support engineering and purchasing as necessary
  7. Follow up with customers by email or voice on all mid to high dollar value bids.
  8. Forward all customer drawings and corresponding emails to document control for proper logging
  9. Purchase order and contract negotiations with customers
  10. Customer account profit and loss monitoring and review on a monthly/quarterly basis.  Monitor and manager material and labor cost over runs.
  11. Customer account growth
  12. Interface with all facets of the organization
  13. Interface with engineering on technical issues and convey the issues to the customer for resolution
  14. Interface with the customer on schedule and cost impacts as they arise
  15. Manage and analyze OTD metrics with management.
  16. Managing customers schedule and expectations; working with different departmnets to achieve the customers goals
  17. Monitor customer quality metrics.  Participate in quality meetings with the customer.
  18. Responsible for total customer satisfaction
  19. Communicate with Sales Representatives, as necessary, on associated accounts
  20. Coordinate exchange of information between sales, engineering and purchasing.
  21. File and retrieve sales records and correspondence as required.
  22. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Training

Degree:  Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years industry experience

Experience

  • Prior experience in customer service or program management.
  • Knowledge of wire harness and cable assemblies’ products is required.
