 Agile is looking for an Inspection Supervisor in Hudson NH

What you will be doing:

  1. To ensure the daily inspection processes are fully functional and effective in quality control and assure products meet all specifications and quality requirements.
  2. Ensure a positive, safe workplace environment and respect for all staff, customers and suppliers is maintained at all times.
  3. Ensure performance to all internal and external quality specifications and expectations.

  4. Understand, communicate daily priorities and ensure they are actioned accordingly.

  5. Communicate with customers and suppliers as needed to ensure response actions are timely.

  6. Ensure inspection team is trained in incoming, in-process and final and First Article inspection processes and procedures.

  7. Ensure inspections are completed using J-STD-001 and IPC-620 standards and inspection logs are properly maintained.

  8. Coordinate inspection activities taking into account daily schedule, priorities communicated from Buyers and the Quality Manager.

  9. Gather data and create charts and distribute worksheets as required, including Quality KPIs.

  10. Ensure NC / RMA / MRB activities including completion of forms and logs are being properly maintained.

  11. Assist production supervisors with Quality data bases, inspection results and corrective/preventive actions.

  12. Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection duties on various types of cable assemblies, harnesses and mechanical assemblies, as needed to support the daily operations of the facility.

What we require from you:

  1. HS Diploma / Associates Degree or Equivalent
  2. Prior quality control experience required (2 yrs preferred)
  3. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  4. Must be able to read, interpret / understand drawings and wiring schematics.
  5. Knowledge in use of mechanical measuring equipment and tools. i.e.: calipers, scales (rulers) and microscopes.
  6. Must have working knowledge of J-STD-001 and IPC-620 requirements.
  7. Intermediate or better knowledge of computer functionality and office software including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  8. Position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, reaching and using measuring devices involving fine hand motion and a high degree of visual acuity.  Due to the nature of the position and the level of noise, safety glasses and other PPE will be required.
