Job Summary:

Newton Scientific Inc. is currently looking for an experienced team player to fill the Electro-Mechanical Assembler position. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly, fabrication, and testing tasks under supervision of a Production Manager. This is a full time, hourly position.

What you will be doing:

Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:

1.  Encapsulation of electronic assemblies utilizing adhesives, epoxy and RTV
2. Assembly of small electro-mechanical devices using hand tools and adhesives
3. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required to fulfill job function or as assigned

What we require from you:

1.  Experience with use of adhesives, epoxy, RTV to encapsulate electronic assemblies is also highly desirable.  
2.  Excellent electro-mechanical assembly skills 
3.  Experience with precision assembly, inspection 
4. Experience with soldering of precision electronic assemblies is highly desirable. 
5. Good communication skills
6. Able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and 
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. High School Diploma or equivalent 
9. Certificate or Associated Degree preferred  
10. Sitting and standing for long hours; mechanical ability; manual dexterity.
